In May 2011 Impermanence gathered for the first time. We were given 5 weeks space at Dartington Arts Centre and invited as many people as we could to come together to see how we might collaborate. 10 dancers came, a beatboxer, two multi-instrumentalists, 3 poets and an actor… most people were camping during their stay.
Satori is a Japanese word that describes a moment of enlightenment. The subject we were loosely looking at throughout the residency was a journey of separate elements coming together and then resettling in new configurations.
